Nestling In

Tem is in reshis poponse to a drabble challenge set by Sharon. Consequently it has 100 words exactly and is designed to “warm you up”.

Nestling In

His sad, soft, gentle eyes
pierced her very soul
then he turned
and strode away from her
across the yard,
his bearing ever upright.

Buttery soft shirt
barely veiled
his strong, sinewy arms,
lightly tanned by the sun.
Her gaze lowered.
Oh, those trousers.
Concealed everything,
and nothing.

The supple fabric,
the colour of Lancer earth,
clung to him as he moved
with cat-like grace.
Hypnotizing.
Mesmerizing.
Energizing.

She felt a distinct warming
in her nether regions.
Dinner could wait.
She entered the empty house
and walked over to the chair
he had just vacated.

She nestled in.
