FGreat Room Encounter

Yellow-orange-gold

firelight dances across us

You and I.

Warm-hot-hotter, toasting us in its heated blaze,

Coloring your face, your hands, your body,

gilding your fair hair.

Everywhere you are warm and golden – cheeks, lips, shoulders, arms, and torso…

That torso I love so much, flat and hard, smooth but quivering under my stroke.

In the ebullient glow your eyes are deep blue-gray,

A repository of cool blue fire

that burns me with their gaze.

The logs breathe red,

The gray-black coals eye us, grinning wickedly

while fingers of flame flicker nimbly across the wood,

Feeding us,

Playing its firelight music for us.

Your mouth touches me, tastes me

Soft-salty-slick,

Lips scorching

Tongue tickling.

I laugh softly and you chuckle, too,

Your throat-sounds deep and warm, so familiar.

I nuzzle your warmth

Inhale its sweaty scent,

Gasp

As your long fingers leave a trail of fire along my skin.

Yellow-orange-gold

firelight dances across us

You and I.

The logs sigh and crash.

Heated, glowing rain blooms, quickly consumed.

We move, quicker, closer, closer still

Dancing to the flame-music, hot, hotter

And I fall willingly into this perfect inferno.

The gray-black coals eye us, grinning wickedly

And promise to keep our secret.
